We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any content, and are not responsible for the contents of any content. Any user who feels that a posted content is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by e-mail. We have the ability to remove objectionable content and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, so please realize that we may not be able to remove or edit particular content immediately. In addition linking is permitted on the Amusement Park Authority but we cannot actively monitor all the links of and are not responsible for any links posted. You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use the Amusement Park Authority to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise breaking any law. General Guidelines |
| The easiest way to decide if the post is ok on our forum is the following; if it can be said on Network television than it's ok on Amusement Park Authority. Although the staff of Amusement Park Authority's forum will attempt to keep all objectionable content off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all content. All content express the views of the author, and neither the owners of Amusement Park Authority. By using these forums you agree and you warrant that you will not post any content that is obscene, vulgar, sexually-orientated, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violation of any laws. Amusement Park Authority members must observe these Terms of Service, plus observe and obey any etiquette, directives, requests, and orders from Amusement Park Authority staff. Amusement Park Authority staff reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason without notice. Furthermore, Amusement Park Authority staff reserve the right to suspend or revoke posting privileges of any member for any reason without notice (also known as "ban" or "suspension"). While staff are required to exercise restraint in deciding on an account suspension, you may appeal a permanent suspension immediately to the Amusement Park Authority Administrators. Amusement Park Authority does maintain a policy of not deleting accounts, posts or threads. Please do not ask for your posts, account, or threads to be deleted because the answer is no and you will be denied every time you ask. Continuous asking may be considered harassment and you may be punished for that. If you would like, we can deactivate your account. Amusement Park Authority Staff (and members) work hard to help maintain this site and keep things orderly. Therefore, treat them as you would like to be treated. Disrespecting Amusement Park Authority staff, as well as others, can lead to disciplinary action, including and up to permanent account suspension. Amusement Park Authority staff is not required, in any way, to explain a member's suspension. While it may be done as a courtesy, Amusement Park Authority staff reserve the right to refuse explanation of any suspension. |
Signatures |
| A signature must not be any bigger than 500 x 250. A big signature causes forum clutter. If you want to know how big your signature is, right click on the image and click properties and then it will tell you how big the image is in pixels. Please know that any staff member has the right to remove your signature at anytime if it breaks any of the rules. We will not make you size it down or remove it if you are a couple pixels too big. |
Proper Posting Guidelines |
| Amusement Park Authority will not tolerate excessive improper spelling and grammar. A typo here and there is acceptable, but illegible posts are not. If you have trouble spelling we encourage you to switch to Mozilla Firefox because it has a built in spell checker in it, or install the Google's Tool bar for its spell checker. Depending on the severity of the violation, we will either edit or remove your post. If we have to edit too many of your posts, you may receive an infraction or a warning, and remember that too many infractions could get your account suspended. Text Message shorthand speak is allowed but do not overuse it. Remember that you have time to properly compose and edit messages on the forums prior to posting them. We also have some smaller rules listed here: a) Cursing - Moderate cursing is allowed as long as it's not every other word and taken to the extreme. Please keep in mind that there will be kids here as well. b) Spamming - Spamming will not be tolerated. If an account is created solely for spam purposes, it will be banned and the IP address and e-mail address used to register it will be blocked. c) Flaming - Flaming is not allowed here. If you start a flame war we can and will ban your account from 1 day to 7 days. If this kind of behavior continues we have the right to extend that ban to up to 2 years and a permanent ban if necessary. d) Links in posts - Links in posts are allowed. Links in posts are a mainstay of content board activity. However, see the notes regarding advertising. e) Chain Letters - A chain letter is a message asking the reader to forward to X number of people. Chain letters are prohibited on Amusement Park Authority. If you receive a chain letter, do not reply to it or forward it to others. Simply report it to a staff member so it can be dealt with. f) Personal Display of Affection - Public Affection is the act of showing love or taking personal relationships unto the site. These are not allowed in your user name or in posts/threads. You are allowed however to use our PM service to display affection and profile messages but posting and making threads is not allowed. g) Respecting Other Members - At Amusement Park Authority, we believe that it is important for our members to get along with each other and to treat each other with respect. It's ok to disagree with someone, but you need to either ignore their opinion or be respectful with your response. Posts insulting members are not acceptable and will not be tolerated. If you make a post that is insulting or disrespectful towards another member, any staff member may edit or delete your post and you will receive a warning. If another post violating this rule is made, you will receive an infraction. If the violations continue, you will be banned as determined appropriate by the site staff. |
Advertising |
| Advertising of any kind is not allowed without prior approval from the editors and moderators of Amusement Park Authority. Any advertising approved or not can, without notice, be removed by the forum Administrator. Furthermore, advertising that is not approved will be subject to immediate account suspension, contact of your Internet Service Provider's abuse department, and or a bill for advertising. Personal sites or other sites are allowed in signatures (with a proper return link to Amusement Park Authority, see guidelines), Blogs, and Account Profiles. Direct advertising of personal sites or other sites in the message boards are prohibited except with Amusement Park Authority staff approval. Return links to Amusement Park Authority must be in a links or affiliates area of the page/site, or a links or affiliates page. They are not counted as return links on story or news pages, forum pages, or other content pages (both static and dynamic). Once you have a proper return link, you may submit a link to us for display on our links page. |

| Here at Amusement Park Authority we have a few rules about user names which can be found below: a) Creating Multiple User names - Members are limited to one account on Amusement Park Authority per e-mail address per person. Creating an additional user name if you are banned, on probation, warnings or other restrictions, is considered an evasion of these ToS and a swift and stricter punishment will be placed, including the option that we may contact your ISP. If you need to create a new user name, please contact Amusement Park Authority staff immediately before registering a new account. b) User names containing URLs are not permitted on Amusement Park Authority and will be banned and or removed without notice. c) Sharing User names - Members may not share user names.
