Acceptance Of Terms of Use
Each time you use or cause access to this web site or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, and as amended from time to time with or without notice to you. In addition, if you are using a particular service on or through this web site, you will be subject to any rules or guidelines applicable to those services and they shall be incorporated by reference into these Terms of Use.
Backseat Moderation
Backseat moderation is the act of telling other members what they can, cannot do, or correcting people’s posts. This is the job of Official Amusement Park Authority moderators and administrators. If you would like to tip off our moderators and admins, you can send a report on a post by hitting the report button. Our moderators will check it out.
Proper Posting Guidelines
Amusement Park Authority will not tolerate excessive improper spelling and grammar. A typo here and there is acceptable, but illegible posts are not. If you have trouble spelling we encourage you to switch to Mozilla Firefox because it has a built in spell checker in it, or install the Google's Toolbar for its spell checker. Depending on the severity of the violation, we will either edit or remove your post. If we have to edit too many of your posts, you may receive an infraction or a warning, and remember that too many infractions could get your account suspended. Text Message shorthand or "l77t" speak is allowed but do not overuse it. Remember that you have time to properly compose and edit messages on the forums prior to posting them.
Chain Letters
A chain letter is a message asking the reader to forward to X number of people. Chain letters are prohibited on Amusement Park Authority. If you receive a chain letter, do not reply to it or forward it to others. Simply report it to a staff member so it can be dealt with.
Signature
A signature must not be any bigger than 500 x 250. A big signature causes forum clutter (which we don't want). If you want to know how big your signature is, right click on the image and click properties and then it will tell you how big the image is in pixels. Please know that any staff member has the right to remove your signature at anytime if it breaks any of the rules. We will not make you size it down or remove it if you are a couple pixels too big.
Public Affection (PDA)
Public Affection is the act of showing love or taking personal relationships unto the site. These are not allowed in your username or in posts/threads. You are allowed however to use our PM service to display affection and profile messages but posting and making threads is not allowed.
Multiple Accounts
You are allowed one account. Multiple accounts are not allowed, and will be deleted if we find them, you are allowed family accounts, and sharing an account it is highly not a good idea.
Politics
Political discussion is allowed but when the discussion becomes out of control, we will step in.
Spamming/Flaming
Spamming or flaming will not be tolerated. If an account is created solely for spam or flame purposes, it will be banned and the IP address and email address used to register it will be blocked.
Language
Here at Amusement Park Authority we try to appeal to everyone. We allow moderate cursing as long as it's not every other word and taken to the extreme. Please keep in mind that there will be kids here as well.
Videos and Photography
At Amusement Park Authority we value your art and photography but please anything taken without authorization, POV's taken on ride etc., will not be allowed here.
