So I guess it's time to talk about this. This was supposed to be a Carowinds recreation, and I got about half way through the recreation and now my game is screwed up so this park is going to get dropped.

If anyone has any advice on how to fix the game, I would appreciate it. I'll play the game for about 5 minutes, then it will just freeze and the only way to stop it is to restart the computer. Has anyone else had this problem?

About your savegame, from what I've learned at NE, this method oten works.
PM/Email me the park, then I'll save it under a different name. I'll send the new one back to you, and it should be fixed.


Have you tried playing other parks? If it does that for all of them, it may be the computer and not the park.

It crashes on every park on the game. I have been playing RCT2 on an old computer and it ran very well for the pourposes that I used it. My brother decided to put iTunes on that computer and for some reason it's screwed up. I'm going to put all of my files on a flash drive from RCT2 so they aren't all lost. I decided to put the game on my 2010 Windows 7 Laptop that I use for all of my work. I was just using the parks that came with the game, and the game lasts about 5 minutes, then freezes. The only way that I can get out of it is by restarting the laptop. Ctrl-Alt-Delete won't even work.

I don't even want to know what will happen if I try loading all of my custom scenery on it. I think that the game may just be too old for the computer. Has anyone else had similar problems with RCT2?

Alright. Vista and Windows 7 are known to have tons of problems running RCT2. After a quick check, try reading this topic: Me! (http://forums.nedesigns.com/index.php?showtopic=21387)
