Nitrofan's Monthly Trivia Quiz!

This is the thread where I am going to host a weekly trivia question. The game will run weekend to weekend, and the updates will be given either saturday night or sunday afternoon.

Here's how to participate:
1. Click on Quiz on the Navigation Bar right at the top of the forums.
2. Click on Nitrofan's Monthly Quiz
3. Click on the quiz for the current month
4. Take the quiz
5. After taking the quiz, you will recieve a PM (Private Message) with your results. Copy that PM EXACTLY how it was sent to you and send it in a PM to me.
6. Whoever sends me a PM with their results who has the highest score first wins.

Some Notes on how to Participate
-You are on the honor system with not edditing your results, but please note that I can go into the Site Control Pannel and check what the computer calculated your score as if I become suspicious of cheating. It's just a game so please don't cheat. I don't think it will become an issue, but you will be banned from the game for 4 months if you do cheat. If you have multiple offenses of cheating, you may be given infractions and put up for having your account banned. Please don't make me even have to think about banning people over this game again.
-Please PM your results, and don't post them here. Your score will only be counted if I recieve it in a PM.
-You may only take the quiz once. The site will not allow you to take a quiz more than once. You may go back and do previous months' quizzes if you would like, but they don't count for your score.

Scoring
Whoever recieves the highest score on the quiz will get a point. One point will be given out each month to the person who gets the highest score of any member on the site first.

Ex:
Member 1 submits their score on January 15 with 99%
Member 2 submits their quiz on January 30 with a 100%

Member 2 wins the point

Please note that the score on your PM is not your final score. I will go over the scores and if your answer is close enough or is correct and the computer marked it wrong and it is an error, I will go back and fix your score.

Prizes
-One award for the trivia quiz will be given out. We keep track of your points and whoever has the most points at any given time will recieve the award. The award may travel to a different user each month.

I must recieve all scores by 11:59 PM on January 30, 2010 for the score to be counted. The winner will be announced on January 31 and the next quiz should become available the first day of the next month.

Please note that this month's quiz is sort of a test, so the rules may change next month from what I learn this month and the tests will get longer as well.

The Third park by Six Flags is Six Flags St. Louis.
It was built for about $55 million
Year opened: 1971

I was disappointed that he was the only participant in the last 2 weeks, so I'm going to try this contest again when the site's member base grows and their is more interest. If you are interested in me resuming, please PM me. I need at least 3 people interested in order for the contest to start, but until then, this thread will be locked.

I am going to start this quiz again! I have changed the way that I do the quiz to take advantage of the features the site has to offer and hopefully making it a more user-friendly system.

I am going to make it a monthly quiz and it will start in November. To find the quiz, go to the toolbar towards the top of the screen and click quiz. The quiz will be titled clearly. The November one will be called Nitrofan's Trivia Quiz November 2009. Once you complete the quiz, you will recieve an automatic PM with your results, which should send in less than a minute. Forward that PM to me immediately. The first person to PM me a copy of a score with every question complete will win the contest. A prize may be determined at a later date.

I will let you know in this thread when the quiz is available. This thread is now open again for discussion on this quiz. If you have any suggestions on how to improve the quiz, we would love to hear your feedback.
